See what people are saying about this retreat:

“From the moment I arrived at the Autumn Equinox Ritual and Yoga Retreat I was greeted by everyone's (Cheri, Anne, Chelsea and Kita) amazing energy and positive vibe that signaled the start of a wonderfully relaxing, inspiring and rejuvenating weekend!

The entire weekend was planned and executed extremely well. Lots of different activities in addition to yoga to celebrate the Autumn Equinox. The Vegan meals were deliciously crafted on site and we had lots to eat!  The yoga was timely and never overwhelming to the other activities, like meditation, tarot readings, several ritual workshops, hikes and enjoying the gorgeous landscape and house not to mention the cute town!

Being new to yoga I was initially intimidated of a weekend long yoga retreat. Chelsea assuaged my hesitancy as soon as the first class started. The yoga was exhilarating and the instruction was wonderful no matter what your experience level was.

This retreat is much more than just yoga. You will leave feeling refreshed, connected and powerful! I enjoyed every minute of it and the friendships I made!

Thank you to Cheri, Anne Chelsea and Kita!!!!”

This was my first ever yoga retreat. I have practiced yoga over the years but typically in my own home due to annoying experiences at yoga studios. I decided that I wanted to embrace new experiences, so I took a chance and happy I did! The yoga was for everyone with modifications for every pose. The atmosphere of openness,  warmth and sensitivity that they created from start to finish was truly refreshing. They allowed for flexibility without pressure, if you wanted to participate great, if not no worries was the mantra. The food was another level! You could taste the care and love with each bite and there was something for everyone. The overall experience exceeded my expectations!!! If you want to hang with great people, eat amazing food, practice yoga with no judgement and have lots of laughs — this is for you!

“The Sideshow Gallery Autumn Equinox retreat was something I signed up for, for me. Just me. Which is something I don’t do often especially with two small kiddos at home and a growing small business.

But it was a moment of much needed pause for me during an extraordinarily busy time of the year in the shop. This pause was crucial! It fueled me. It refreshed me. My well-being craved it!

It was shortly after my grandmother had passed and I needed some stillness in a loving space to process and heal.

Cheri, Anne, Kita & Chelsea created such a comfortable, loving, safe, beautiful  & nurturing atmosphere for all of us.

The house was lovely. It had so much space to gather yet felt cozy and intimate. The outdoor space was my absolute favorite part of the house. Huge deck with a fire pit, plenty of seating that overlooked the woods.

Kita’s culinary gift is such an art form. The food was incredible. Every single meal was divine & I felt truly nourished afterwards in many ways. Her cooking specifically, reminds me so much of my childhood. The spices she uses, watching her move about the kitchen space. It’s nostalgic for me. She’s the Iranian auntie of everyone’s dreams. Every bite is delicious, fresh, full of flavor & love.

Chelsea’s teaching style for yoga is unlike what I’ve experienced before. I’ve taken plenty of yoga classes however her particular teaching style is simple to follow for beginners and yet challenging enough for more experienced yogis. She has a beautiful way of getting your mind off doing things ‘correct’ or picture perfect and rather to just be and to just feel what your body feels like in each pose and movement.

I loved having the retreat focused around the yoga classes. As well as the workshops & group activities along with plenty of free time. The schedule was relaxed yet structured just enough to stay present the entire weekend.

My favorite yoga class was the doom yoga we had outside on Saturday night. That one was emotional for me. Whether it was the red wine or Depeche Mode playing or everything I had reflected on and experienced during the retreat thus far, But I had my own breakthrough. That evening’s yoga class was so releasing. Pairing that with my gorgeous and clarifying reading with Anne, I had so much to takeaway than just my good bag ( WHICH WAS AWESOME!).

Ps- everyone should practice yoga outside. There is something extraordinary about being surrounded by trees, the sounds of birds and of the wind, seeing deer & feeling the earth beneath your body. Nothing more grounding than feeling the earth beneath you.

I highly recommend this retreat. From many perspectives. The perspective of a mom, of a busy small business owner, as a woman, as a human. Do this for yourself. Give yourself time to gather in community with this beautiful group of gifted women from Sideshow Gallery whom I wholeheartedly adore and respect.

I already cannot wait to join the next one”
