The 7 Step System to Manifesting Your Purpose

See this content in the original post

Manifesting your purpose can be a lofty goal.

Where do I start? How do I know if I am doing the right thing? What if I fail?

All familiar questions from one manifester to another :) I have had these thoughts and more. I have started and failed multiple times over. I have rage-quit jobs saying I am going to go into business myself, only to realize I had no idea how to go into business for myself.

I won’t lie to you, going after your true purpose is not a WALK IN THE PARK. It’s just not. BUT…if it’s true purpose you are going after, it is so worth it. Work is work; as the only saying goes, nothing worthwhile ever comes easy. The caveat is when you know your why and you know what you want, working hard feels aligned, satisfying, and deeply fulfilling in a way that working some bogus job never will.

Your Career Doesn’t Have To Be Your Purpose

I think it is important when it comes to manifesting, it doesn’t have to be about your day job. For me it is, and for some, it will be. But for others, your purpose may come in another form. And I don’t know what that purpose is…only you can discover it. But I think it is important to say that despite my job being my dharma and despite the current “hustle culture” that is in the world, it’s entirely possible you aren’t looking to totally overhaul your career. Your purpose can be something you are not getting paid for or something that you do in your free time rather than full-time. There are really no rules. You have to do you.

You are an amazing, beautiful, and talented individual filled with glorious purpose (as my friend Loki would say :))

Shift Your Mindset to One of Success

Again, success doesn’t have to mean your career. In the context of manifestation, it simply means being able to create exactly what you want in your life that you intended. Before you even go through the Manifestation process, you have to KNOW you are going to succeed. Mindset is key in anything we do in life. Your mind is one of the most powerful and magickal tools at our disposal. In fact, many if not most yoga practices are meant to identify the blockages of the mind and shift its thinking patterns. Just like magick. magick uses tools-spells, rituals, crystals, colors, and herbs- all with the specific intent to shift our mindset a certain way. Now That You’ve Got The Right Mindset- What is The Manifestation System?

So now that you’ve got your mindset right, let’s take about the system. Yeah, you can follow this system step-by-step and achieve anything you want. Bt don’t forget, hard work is inevitable, and adjustments still sometimes need to be made. Depending on your dream and where you’re starting from, some goals might take more effort than others. Some might produce learning experiences first so you might have to back track to a previous step sometimes. BUT all of these steps will get you where you need to go.

  1. Identify Your Dream (Crown Chakra)

What is your goal? What is your dream? If you aren’t clear on this first…how can you progress. If you aren’t certain what your dream is yet…my recommendation is to work on quieting your mind with meditation and journaling. Your dreams will become more obvious when you silence the chatter of the mind, and sometimes the chatter of other people’s voices in your head!

  2. Visualize Your Dream (Third Eye Chakra)

Now that you know what the dream or goal is…it’s time to visualize. Literally every single detail, no matter how big or how small it is, visualize it in your head. If the goal was to buy your dream house, you would see every detail of the house: the color, the yard, the decorations inside, the flowers outside, the wall color in each room, the furniture that fills it, and even how it smells when you walk in. See yourself clearly doing the mundane stuff, signing the contract, getting the keys. The clearer your vision the better.

  3. Express Your Vision (Throat Chakra)

Time to tell people about your dream. Tell your friends, your family, and people you care about it. Write your dreams down in a journal. By doing this you put sound (vibration) or physicality into your dream. When you speak it or write it down, you are creating the first real version of it in the physical world. Don’t skip this step! If you never speak your intentions, your dream is in danger of just remaining an un-manifested thought.

  4. Nurture Your Relationships (Heart Chakra)

Support is crucial when manifesting a goal. It might be financial support, emotional support, advice, or networking- but the fact of the matter is, nothing can be done completely by yourself. I know the boss babe in you might be saying “I CAN DO IT ALL.” Let me stop you right there. You can’t. And it’s not a bad thing. Every single successful person in the world has had help in SOME way or another. And it’s important you open yourself up to those connections and receptive energy.

  5. Take Aligned Action (Solar Plexus Chakra)

Here’s where you really start to make moves. Time to create an action plan. And this is not something you just think of in your head. Write down every single thing you can think of that will need to be accomplished and then break each one down into actionable steps. And don’t just write these steps down, give yourself deadlines. That means deciding when you can get each action done by and putting it on your calendar to hold yourself accountable. And don’t forget to be realistic based on what else you have going on in your life, but create a deadline and stick to it.

  6. Passionately Create (Sacral Chakra)

This is where we really start to see some challenges. We take action, but things don’t always go as planned. We get frustrated and want to give up. This is where we find ways to make our work fun. What do you love about what you’re doing? Can you find a way to infuse fun, or even make your circumstances more enjoyable so that you can push through the challenges you face? This is the time to remember your WHY. Why do you want this? What do you want to do with it? How will you feel when it’s manifested? PASSION is critical…and if you discover you aren’t passionate about it, well it might be time to back up and re-evaluate.

  7. Final Manifestation (Root Chakra)

Time to cross your t’s and dot your i’s. This last step is just seeing everything through. everything you put in motion, following up and completing those actions. This is the last step and the biggest part of it, I would say, is gratitude for what you’ve done. See your dream become a reality, and express true appreciation for it. You are amazing and you literally took something that was just an idea in your head and made it real in your life.

“Ok I did everything and my dream is still not manifested.”

Alright, in this case, somewhere along the way, you were not aligned or you missed something. It is critical that we do the work to ask ourselves, which of these steps is not truly being completed. Is there someone I could have asked for help that I didn’t? Did I see every single detail of my dream in my head? Did I stick to my action plan? Am I truly passionate about what I have been working on? Is this my dream or someone else’s?

This process not only allows you to follow an actual progression to manifest, but it also gives you a framework to be able to check in with yourself and find out why it’s not working or it hasn’t so far! Use the associated Chakras to work on each area where you feel like you might be missing something. This is a process of manifestation, but also self-discovery. If you view it this way, you will absolutely find success.
